PLURCON / BY PLURCAST

Know what’s covered.
Check what’s missing.

Before you leave, check five parts of your festival plan. PLURCON is part of PLURCast, with one simple starting point: missing information should stay visible.

PLURCON is also the name reserved for our planned conditions rating system. There is no PLURCON level or numeric score in this beta. Before we publish one, it needs a clear method and testing against the conditions people actually encounter. Missing weather must never look like a favorable rating.

Your before-you-leave check

  1. Right festival, right day. Check the year, local dates, ticket and arrival instructions. Stage hours and camping access are different.
  2. A forecast that covers your time. Check the hours returned and the issue time. Missing hours remain unknown.
  3. Alerts and official updates. Read the notice’s timing. Check organizer instructions separately; an unavailable feed gives no reassurance.
  4. Rules for your actual bag. Check size, material and entry conditions. Camping permission does not imply music-area permission.
  5. A plan you can use. Save your essentials, arrange shared equipment and agree a meeting plan with your crew. Recheck dated information before travelling.

What you can use today

Each festival guide shows available NWS weather for your dates, separate official alerts, and packing suggestions when the forecast and confirmed attendance hours support them. You can see the temperature, precipitation and wind behind a suggestion, alongside the organizer’s item rules.

A forecast cannot promise a safe night or decide whether an event will go ahead. Organizer instructions and official alerts always take precedence.
